Roast Your Own Pig - Pacific Sky BBQ at Whitehead Golf Club

This post is really only here to say that you can, indeed, roast your own pig. Just call the people at Pacific Sky and book a couple of days ahead, transfer them a deposit, and rock up.

To get there, take the MTR to Ma On Shan station and there'll be a free shuttle bus that'll take you there. There are also shuttles (albeit less frequent) from Sha Tin station. The timetables can be found on their website. From Ma On Shan MTR, go into the mall and follow the signs to the taxi stand. The shuttle stops on the road just bordering the stands.

Roasting the pig should take about 1.5 hours if you do it properly. It took us 4 hours, and still their staff had to come help us!

The spread of food is the usual Hongkie crap - franks, frozen chicken wings, pork chops, mini steaks, all marinated with weird sauces. Drinks can be purchased there so you really don't need to bring a thing. The char siu though, was divine. I guess you can't really beat char siu right off the grill!
